Anne Roeters is an experienced researcher and policy advisor specializing in the intersection of work and childcare. Currently serving as Programmaleider at The Netherlands Institute for Social Research since February 2016, Anne Roeters has focused on time use research and parental perceptions of formal childcare. Prior to this position, Anne Roeters worked as a policy advisor for the Social Economic Council, contributing to key reports on childcare and work-life balance. Anne Roeters has held academic roles, including Assistant Professor at Utrecht University and a board member of the Nederlandse Sociologische Vereniging. Educationally, Anne Roeters holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Utrecht University, complemented by language studies in Rome and a high school diploma in the Netherlands.
