Abhishek Sabharwal AFNI is an experienced maritime professional currently heading vessel operations at United Africa Feeder Line since March 2024, overseeing negotiations, claim handling, budget control, and fleetwide regulatory compliance. Abhishek also serves as an Associate Fellow at The Nautical Institute, where the focus is on empowering seafarers through expert industry advice. Prior to these roles, Abhishek held significant positions at A.P. Moller - Maersk, focusing on global stowage planning and berth planning operations, along with a background as a maritime lecturer and a Master Mariner with 13 years of sailing experience. Abhishek is a founder of an apparel brand and holds an Executive MBA in Finance, along with various maritime qualifications, including a Ship Master License.
