Seth Brotman, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Risk, Portfolio Strategy, and Operations at The Nature Conservancy since April 2024. With extensive experience in the financial sector, Brotman previously held the position of President and CEO at Canoe from June 2017 to July 2024, and worked with multiple family offices enhancing their investment strategies from July 2015 to March 2018. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Novus Partners, Director at Harcourt Alternative Investments (US) LLC, and Director of Research at Auda Hedge LLC. Brotman began their career as an Associate at CarbonBased Consulting and as a Consultant at Alaris Consulting. Brotman holds a Master of Science in Decision Information Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a Minor in Economics, both from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
