Leonardo Lacerda is a seasoned professional with nearly 30 years of global experience in environmental, human development, and social justice sectors. Currently serving as the Global Managing Director for Tackle Climate Change at The Nature Conservancy since May 2021, Lacerda leads efforts in climate change mitigation, adaptation, and energy transition. Previously, Lacerda held the position of Environment Programme Director at the Oak Foundation from February 2007 to May 2021, where significant contributions included building a diverse team and managing a $350 million grant portfolio. Lacerda also worked at WWF in various capacities from 1993 to 2006, including roles in forest conservation and as the first executive officer of the Mediterranean Programme. Lacerda has a Master's degree in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidade de BrasÃlia.
