Flavia Resende is a Proposal and Communications Science Specialist at The Nature Conservancy since December 2021. Previously, Flavia served as Public Policy and Corporate Practices Coordinator at Instituto Ethos from May 2013 to November 2021, where responsibilities included mobilizing organizations for the Brazilian National Climate Change Conferences and managing the F贸rum Amaz么nia Sustent谩vel. Flavia also worked as Certification Coordinator at Bureau Veritas Certification from May 2011 to November 2012, overseeing a team of auditors for Clean Development Mechanism projects, and gained experience as a Staff Scientist at the Stockholm Environment Institute and as a Research Assistant at Tufts University. Earlier career stages included roles at EcoSecurities as Project Manager for Clean Development Mechanism projects and volunteer work at the California Academy of Sciences. Flavia holds a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University, an MBA in Environmental Management from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Santa 脷rsula, alongside several certifications in environmental management.
