Melody Weightman is an experienced Art Psychotherapist currently serving at the National Fostering Group since August 2022 and as an approved service provider for the South East Adoption Support Fund since April 2018. With a focus on adopted children and their parents, Melody provides individual, dyadic, and family therapy, specializing in complex trauma and attachment disorders. Melody has a long history of work in various organizations, including Sussex Arts Therapies since April 2012, Greenway Academy from January 2015 to July 2022, and YMCA DownsLink Group from January 2016 to October 2017. Prior experience also includes roles at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where Melody developed and delivered therapeutic programs. Educational credentials include a Foundation in Art Therapy and an MA in Art Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London, along with a BA in Fine Arts from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
