Brian Roewe

Environment Correspondent at National Catholic Reporter

Brian Roewe is an experienced journalist and educator currently serving as the Environment Correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter since November 2011, where Brian leads the EarthBeat reporting project focused on faith, climate change, and environmental justice. Roewe has a diverse reporting background, covering various topics such as labor and politics, and has contributed to multimedia storytelling and web development. Additionally, Roewe has been an Adjunct Professor at Rockhurst University since November 2015, teaching journalism and advising the student newspaper. Previous roles include positions at Saint Louis University and Webster-Kirkwood Times, as well as editorial internships and reporting roles at Merrigan & Co. and the Rockhurst Sentinel. Roewe holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication and Psychology from Rockhurst University.
