Jackie Ashley currently serves as the Chair of The National Brain Appeal and holds multiple honorary fellowships at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. Ashley has been involved with several organizations, including serving as President of the National Cochlear Implant Users Association and Chair of Women's Parliamentary Radio. In addition, Ashley is an active member of various panels and boards, including the UCLH Biomedical Research Council Steering Board and the Hansard Society Board of Trustees. Ashley earned a Master's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford and completed secondary education at Roseberry Grammar School from 1967 to 1973.
