Jeroen de Munter is an experienced statistician currently working at The National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) since September 2019. Previously, Jeroen held the position of demographer at SCB, Statistiska centralbyrån from September 2016 to August 2019. Jeroen also served as a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet from September 2012 to August 2016, focusing on research and supervision. As a PhD student at AMC from 2007 to 2012, Jeroen conducted public health research and engaged in social epidemiology, teaching medical students and co-supervising bachelor theses. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).
