Kathryn Keck

Lead Conservation Information Analyst at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Kathryn Keck has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Kathryn began their career as a Volunteer/Intern at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 2012. Kathryn later interned at Purdue University from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant for the Humanities Action Lab - Global Dialogues Project and also interned at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Registrar at the Lowe Art Museum. In 2019, they worked as a Work Placement at The Scottish National Memorial to David Livingstone Trust and as a Provenance Research Assistant at the Toledo Museum of Art. Kathryn then served as an Associate Registrar for TMS at The Ringling from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Conservation Information Analyst at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Kathryn Keck obtained a Master's degree in Art History with a focus on Collecting and Provenance in an International Context from the University of Glasgow in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Museum Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2014-2016. Kathryn completed their undergraduate education at Purdue University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Classical Studies in 2011-2014.
