Bilal A. Sheikh, CPA, currently serves as the Accounting Manager at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since March 2016, where responsibilities include managing month and year-end close processes in Workday, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and reconciling financial statements for fifty-three departments. Previously, Bilal held the position of Senior Accounting Analyst, successfully reducing month-end close time by four days through improved reconciliations. Prior experience includes working as a Grant Operation Specialist at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, where Bilal prepared financial reports for significant grants and developed budgets, enabling additional funding.
