David J. Lewis is an experienced project manager and consultant currently working for The Memorial Foundation since January 2021. Prior roles include serving as Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer at the TSU Foundation and as a Senior Equity Officer at the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. With a strong background in higher education, David J. Lewis has held various leadership positions at Philander Smith College and University of Missouri-Saint Louis, specializing in student affairs and retention services. David J. Lewis has also contributed to sustainable change initiatives as a consulting partner at Beloved Community. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from Howard University, a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
