Elisabeth Lawton is a Senior Research Assistant at McLean Hospital since September 2022, with previous roles as a Teaching Assistant, Tutor, and Laboratory Prep at W.M Keck Science Department from January 2019 to May 2022. In these positions, Elisabeth tutored students in various biology subjects and facilitated laboratory sessions, ensuring safety and comprehension. As a Research Assistant, contributions were made to antibiotic discovery through the study of molecules from Amycolatopsis bacteria. Elisabeth also served as an Undergraduate Intern and Laboratory Teacher’s Assistant at Albuquerque Academy, where responsibilities included facilitating biology labs during the Covid-19 pandemic and adhering to safety guidelines. Additionally, Elisabeth interned at Desert Oasis Teaching Garden, managing a food production garden through sustainable practices. Elisabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Scripps College, awarded in May 2022, and a high school diploma from Albuquerque Academy, completed in 2016.
