Yashar Abbasi is an experienced investigator currently working at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since July 2022. Prior to this role, Yashar served as a Research Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles from November 2017 to June 2022. Yashar's early career includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine from November 2015 to October 2017, as well as another postdoctoral research fellowship at the Hertie-Institute for Clinical Brain Research from January 2014 to October 2015. Yashar Abbasi earned a PhD in Sports Medicine with a focus on Exercise Immunology from University Hospital Tuebingen, Germany, from 2008 to 2014.
