Stijn Wenmaekers is a medical professional currently serving as a Resident in General Surgery at Luzerner Kantonsspital since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Researcher in oncological urology and surgery at UMC Utrecht, alongside leadership as President of the Educational and Research Council, which advised the (vice)dean on educational and research policy. Stijn participated in the Covid-19 Vaccination Team at GGD regio Utrecht and served as a General Board Member for De Geneeskundestudent, representing 15,000 medical students nationally. Stijn's academic background includes a Master of Science in Selective Utrecht Medical Master from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Maastricht University.
