Nancy B. Gutierrez, Ed.L.D., is the President and Lead Executive Officer of The Leadership Academy, where they focus on culturally responsive leadership. They have served as an Adjunct Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University, and NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Gutierrez led under-resourced schools in East San Jose and founded the Renaissance Academy, a distinguished middle school. Additionally, they hold multiple board positions, including with The Neurodiversity Alliance and brightbeam, and have earned a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard University.
