Sarah Passey is a Senior Editor at The Lancet Neurology since February 2021, overseeing peer reviews and commissioning various types of content. Prior to this role, Sarah rejoined The Lancet in February 2020 as a Senior Assistant Editor, editing primary research and opinion pieces. From 2006 to February 2020, Sarah worked as a freelance editor and proofreader, specializing in editing research papers and opinion pieces for The Lancet. Sarah's career at The Lancet began in June 2001 as an Assistant Editor, eventually becoming a Senior Assistant Editor. Sarah also served as a Medical Editor at Current Medical Literature from 1998 to 2001, producing scientific journals and commissioning reviews. Academically, Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Science from The Open University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
