William Pickell began their work experience in 1990 as a Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Siemens/ADB, where they served until 1996. In 2008, they joined The Lakeland Companies as Vice President and General Counsel. Later that same year, they transitioned to Caco Services Company, where they held the position of Vice President from 2008 to 2010.

William Pickell attended the University of Minnesota from 1967 to 1972, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management. William then pursued further education at the University of Minnesota Law School from 1972 to 1975, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
