Amira Al-Basiony is an experienced English lecturer with a strong background in technical English instruction, currently serving as the Technical English Course Director at NOVA University Lisbon Cairo and as an English Lecturer at both The Knowledge Hub Universities and Universidade Nova de Lisboa since September 2022. Previously, Amira held positions as an English Language Instructor and Soft Skills Trainer at the American University in Cairo and Canadian International College, where responsibilities included curriculum design and leading extracurricular activities. Amira's educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Teacher Education from The American University in Cairo and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, among other certifications. Notable achievements include receiving recognition for best research in literary studies and contributions to workforce development and training.
