Gerard Anguela Martinez has a extensive work experience in marketing, branding, and creative roles. Gerard is currently the Business, Growth, and Innovation Director for the Spanish market at The Keenfolks, where they focus on the Pharma, CPG, and education industries. Before joining The Keenfolks, Gerard worked at Deloitte Digital as the Brand, Content & Digital Communications Manager, where they were responsible for setting brand and digital strategies for clients like Nestlé and Volkswagen. Gerard also led a team in various areas, including visual identity, global guidelines, brand narrative, and coordination of different agencies.

Prior to Deloitte Digital, Gerard worked at VMLY&R as the Brand and Visual Creative Director, where they developed brand strategies and led a team to create customer engagement platforms for brands such as Danone and Font Vella. Gerard also served as a Senior Creative Art Director at VMLY&R, handling clients like Danone, Schweppes, LG, and Bicentury.

Gerard's career began at FCB Global as a Creative Supervisor and Art Director. Gerard later worked at & Comunicas as an Art Director, and at DDB and Ogilvy as a Jr Art Director.

Throughout their career, Gerard has demonstrated expertise in brand management, digital marketing, visual design, copywriting, and creative strategy. Gerard has led teams and worked with multinational companies across various industries.

Gerard Anguela Martinez holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & PR from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which they obtained in the years 1996 to 2000. Gerard then pursued a Master's degree in Marketing Management at Esade from 2008 to 2009. In addition, they completed a postgraduate program in Design at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona in 2004. In 2008, they also completed training in Marketing in Luxury Brands at SDA Bocconi.
