Sahil Sharma is an experienced Associate Staff Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where since August 2019, Sahil has led electrical and software engineering efforts on multiple government projects, overseeing a team of 4-5 engineers. With over three years of expertise in embedded system design, Sahil has a strong background in designing custom PCBs, battery packs, and high-quality software solutions. Previous experience includes a software/electrical engineering internship at Tesla, where Sahil validated the auto-pilot braking system and improved firmware validation test benches, as well as roles at Sikorsky, Magna International, Rent Control Consultants, Inc., and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Sahil holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland.
