Kyle Daub is an experienced Optical Engineer with a diverse background in optical and opto-mechanical engineering. Currently serving at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since August 2022, Kyle previously worked as an Electro-Optical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, providing engineering support to the United States Government. Prior roles include consulting at the University of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics and internships at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where contributions were made to advanced laser communication systems and diagnostic technology. Kyle began the career as an Optician and Metrologist at Sydor Optics, Inc., demonstrating expertise in precision optics fabrication. Educationally, Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Monroe Community College, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Optics/Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona.
