Jay B. is an experienced professional in the field of museum education and academic affairs, currently serving as the Associate Director of Academic Affairs and Collections at The Ringling since October 2021. Jay B. has also contributed as a Special Projects Consultant for Museum Thinking since 2017, and has held various teaching positions as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida State University and the University of South Florida. With a strong background in education and outreach, Jay B. has worked with organizations such as the US Navy Seabee Museum and the ICOM - International Council of Museums. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Museum Education and Visitor-Centered Curation from Florida State University, along with an MFA in Motion Picture Arts Writing and a BA in Technical Writing. Additionally, Jay B. has experience in research and project evaluation, having co-authored chapters in notable publications related to museum practices.
