Jen Melcon is an accomplished operations planning and strategy officer currently serving at The James Irvine Foundation since January 2023. Prior to this role, Melcon was the resource systems manager at the Exploratorium from February 2016 to January 2023, leading a team of 25 across various creative departments while managing numerous active projects. Melcon co-owned and managed 20 Spot, a restaurant and wine bar, from January 2014 to December 2015, overseeing daily operations and strategic direction. Additionally, Melcon spent nine years as the director at The Baum Foundation, gaining extensive experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising, communications, and program management.
