Corey McComas, CPA, serves as the Controller at The Iowa Clinic since October 2022, previously holding the position of Director of Accounting at Jefferson City Medical Group from April 2017 to October 2022. In this role, Corey focused on the development and implementation of financial management goals, policies, and procedures while managing accounting and HRIS systems. Prior experience includes a tenure as Audit Manager at the Office of the Missouri State Auditor from November 2009 to April 2017, marked by progressive promotions from Staff Auditor to Senior Auditor to Audit Manager. Corey began a professional career as a Sales Representative at Five Star Wireless from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master’s of Accountancy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, both obtained from Truman State University.
