Digna is one of New Zealand’s most experienced Human Resources Professionals.
She has over 30 years’ experience as a Human Resources and Employment Relations practitioner both in New Zealand and Globally. She has worked within organisations as HR Director and is the past Vice President Board of Trustees Arthritis New Zealand. She has been on the Professional Conduct Committee for the Physiotherapy Board New Zealand and has been a Director of IBM New Zealand and other Boards. She currently consults for the Investigators in Employment Relations, Strategic HR and Organisational Development. She is a qualified Investigator and Mediator.
Digna regularly conducts inquiries and investigations on behalf of not-for-profit organisations, government departments and private companies. She regularly investigates workplace bullying, harassment, serious misconduct, unprofessional behaviour, employee grievances and external complaints.
She has an extremely high level understanding and excellent knowledge of HR management and employment relations issues, including extensive experience interpreting and implementing legislation. Throughout her career, she has been involved in major organisational change resulting from changing strategic priorities, financial pressures and new service delivery requirements. She is therefore familiar with challenging and changing environments and is a skilled change agent.
She holds a BSc. in Applied Management with a Double Major in Human Resources (Distinction) and Strategic Management (Distinction) and is a licensed private investigator (Ministry of Justice) licence number 22-094179.
