Samer Elchahabi possesses extensive experience in international development and electoral systems, currently serving as Deputy Country Director for Tunisia at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since September 2019. Previously, Samer held the role of Institutional Partnership Adviser with the Norwegian Refugee Council and contributed as an Electoral Consultant for UNDP, where significant work included drafting chapters for the UNDP Arabic Electoral Dictionary. With a robust background at Creative Associates International and prior positions at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Qatar Foundation International, CRDF Global, and the International Law Institute, Samer's expertise encompasses program management, strategic planning, and compliance in the Middle East and North Africa region. Samer holds a Master's in International Relations from Alliant International University and a Bachelor's in Economics from Birzeit University.
