Elliot Mitchell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in electoral systems and civil society support, currently serving as Regional Advisor for Africa at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since March 2020, with prior roles as Deputy Regional Director and Acting Regional Director. From November 2015 to February 2020, Elliot Mitchell held key positions at Counterpart International, including Associate Director and Senior Program Manager, overseeing significant portfolios aimed at promoting inclusive governance and electoral participation among marginalized populations. Earlier experience includes various roles at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems, where Elliot Mitchell managed projects focused on enhancing electoral processes and providing strategic assistance to election commissions.
