Andrea Chedas is an experienced professional in corporate security and financial crime, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Security at Wealthsimple since October 2021. In addition to this role, Andrea Chedas holds the position of Canadian Chapter Vice Chair at The Institute of Strategic Risk Management since August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of the Major Case Unit at Scotiabank from August 2017 to October 2021, and working as a Detective Constable in Financial Crimes with the Toronto Police Service from May 2007 to September 2015. Additionally, Andrea Chedas contributed to the Ontario Securities Commission in Corporate Finance from January 1999 to January 2007. Education was completed at Central Commerce.
