Andy Heard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andy most recently worked at The Instant Group as the Head of Portfolio Insights, a role they held since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Client Solutions at the same company from July 2020 to October 2021. Andy also served as a Senior Analyst at The Instant Group from March 2019 to July 2020. Before their time at The Instant Group, Andy took a voluntary career break to spend time with their children and dabbled in proptech start-ups. Andy has past experience as a Commercial Analyst at Carter Jonas, an Insight Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, a Research Analyst at Cluttons, and a Data Analyst at Derwent London Plc and Reed Business Information. Andy also worked in World Travel and as a Recruitment Analyst at MGA Recruitment earlier in their career.

Andy Heard attended the University of Birmingham from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geography.
