Rituparna Chatterjee is an accomplished media professional with a strong background in communication and advocacy. Currently serving as the Deputy Asia Editor at The Independent, Rituparna has previously held the position of India Representative at Reporters Without Borders (RSF). As the Head of Communications and Director of Communications at UNGENDER Legal Advisory, Rituparna contributed to significant communication strategies. Additionally, Rituparna worked as a Thought Leader at Citizens for Public Leadership and as a Rex Fellow with the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship. Rituparna holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Lady Brabourne College.
