Andrew Wythes is an experienced data analytics professional currently serving as the Data Analytics Director at The Independent since April 2021. Previously, Andrew held the position of Head of Data Analytics at ESI Media from June 2017 to April 2021 and led data initiatives as Head of Data at Metro UK from May 2012 to April 2017. Andrew’s career began at Nationwide Building Society, where various roles included Location Planning Consultant and Development Analyst. Other notable positions include Senior Manager for E-Marketing at Sony Europe and Customer Database Strategy Manager at Eurostar Group Ltd. Andrew holds a BA Hons degree in Geography from Staffordshire Polytechnic.
