Cody Atkinson, MPA, currently serves as the State Director for Missouri at The Humane Society of the United States since May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as the National Policy & Political Director at Family Farm Action, where extensive knowledge of food and farm policy was applied to coalition building and political strategy development from November 2017 to January 2021. Cody Atkinson has held various leadership roles, including Regional Organizing Director for Michael Bloomberg 2020 and Campaign Director at The Campaign Lab, overseeing campaign operations and messaging from September 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this, service in the United States Army Reserve as a Healthcare Specialist spanned from October 2009 to October 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University and ongoing studies for a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Food and Farming at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
