Michael Dressler currently serves as a Research Associate at the Hudson Institute, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Michael gained extensive academic experience at Penn State Law, where responsibilities included serving as a Teaching Assistant for Vice Admiral (Ret.) James W. Houck and as a Research Assistant for Professor Larry Catá Backer and The Montague Law Library. Additional experience includes a Political-Military Analysis Internship at Hudson Institute and a Teaching Assistant role at Penn State School of International Affairs. Earlier internships include positions at McCormick Law Firm and the Pennsylvania State Senate, along with tutoring roles at Lycoming College. Michael holds dual degrees in Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of International Affairs from Penn State, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Lycoming College.
