Meshach Asare-Werehene

Clinical Chemistry Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children

Meshach Asare-Werehene is currently a Clinical Fellow at the University Health Network since January 2024 and a Clinical Chemistry Fellow at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, since June 2023. As an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Ovarian Research since October 2022, Meshach reviews research articles on reproductive medicine, gynecology, and cancer immunotherapy. Meshach has served as a Professor (APTPUO) at the University of Ottawa and as the Immuno-Oncology Lead at The Ottawa Hospital since 2015. Additionally, Meshach is the Founder and CEO of Cancer2Life Medical Consult. Previous roles include a Clinical Fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) and a Visiting Fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at University of Fukui Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Ottawa, a Certificate in Breast Cancer from Yale University School of Medicine, and training in Oncology (Immunotherapy) from the University of Nottingham.
