William Ip has held a series of prominent leadership positions in the technology and financial services sectors across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as the Honorary Vice President of the Business Student Union at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since January 2020, William also recently held the role of General Manager, APAC at Unlimit from April 2023 to May 2024. Previously, William was Vice President and Head of Digital Commerce, APAC at Fiserv, where responsibilities included expanding digital commerce initiatives and managing partnerships. As Managing Director for Carousell Hong Kong, William oversaw the P&L focused on revenue growth and consumer acquisitions. Additionally, William served as Managing Director for PayPal across Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan, leading cross-border trade initiatives. William's extensive experience includes key positions at CISCO, Concord Communications, Raymark Asia, and Hercules Datacom. William holds a Master of Finance in Investment Management from HKUST Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
