Halim Jubran is a distinguished professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Phytolon since August 2018, where the focus is on developing innovative natural food colors through baker's yeast fermentation. In addition to this role, Halim Jubran has served on the Board of Governors at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem since October 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Project Manager at Forrest Innovations from January 2016 to July 2018, leading initiatives for the production of sterile male mosquitoes to combat the Zika virus and facilitating RNA delivery in mosquitoes to induce RNA interference. Educational credentials include a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Biotechnology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a variety of other advanced studies in biochemistry and biotechnology from prestigious institutions including the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and the University of Freiburg.
