Sharon Williams is a highly accomplished academic with extensive experience in the fields of health sciences and management. Currently serving as a Professor at Swansea University since May 2018, Sharon also holds the position of Associate Professor at the College of Human & Health Sciences at the same institution since April 2015. Additionally, since April 2013, Sharon has been an Improvement Science Fellow at The Health Foundation, focusing on the design of care pathways. Sharon's academic journey includes roles as a Lecturer in Operations Management and Logistics at Cardiff Business School since January 2010, and previous experience as an Assistant Professor at Warwick Medical School from June 2007 to November 2009, as well as a Lecturer in Management at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth from September 2005 to June 2007. Research and teaching interests encompass systems improvement, healthcare, change management, supply chain management, and process/systems redesign.
