Kelly Slaven has extensive experience in the field of social work and organizational leadership. As a Co-Owner of The Haven Wellness Center since April 2021, Kelly has played a significant role in promoting wellness. Prior to this, from October 2015 to April 2021, Kelly served as the Chief Clinical Officer at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, where strategic oversight and clinical excellence were paramount. Kelly also held the position of Clinical Director at Genesis Women's Shelter & Support from 2005 to 2015, contributing to critical services for women in need. Educationally, Kelly earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach between 2000 and 2002, and holds a degree from The University of Kansas, obtained from 1993 to 1997.
