Touan Plante has over 20 years of experience in structural steel detailing and project management, currently serving as Director at The Haskell Company since September 2010, where previous roles included Operations Manager and Sr. Project Manager. Prior to this, Touan Plante worked as a Freelance Structural Detailer at Steel Detailing Services from 2002 to 2022, specializing in commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects using SDS/2 and Tekla. Experience also includes a tenure as Detailing Manager at Whitley Steel Co., Inc. from 2003 to 2010 and roles as Training Coordinator and Steel Detailer at Steel Plus Network from 1998 to 2002. Educational background includes a DEC in Architectural Technology from CEGEP Levis-Lauzon and completion of Steel University (tm) in 1998.
