Khalid McCombs currently serves as Assistant Project Manager I at The Haskell Company, contributing to construction management efforts since January 2025. Previously, Khalid held the position of Staff Engineer at SMEUSA, where responsibilities included conducting field evaluations and preparing detailed reports to enhance construction methods. Khalid has experience as a Peer Tutor at Mississippi Valley State University, facilitating student learning, and as an Intern at CROSSPOINT HOME BUILDERS, LLC, where project management skills were further developed. Early work experience includes roles at FedEx Logistics as a Customs Trade Agent and various positions at Mississippi Valley State University in residential and administrative capacities. Khalid holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Mississippi Valley State University, completed in May 2023, and a High School Diploma from Harlan Community Academy High School, earned in June 2019.
