Nick Opyd has a diverse work experience in project management and construction. Nick started their career as a Senior Camp Counselor at Culver Academies in 2011, where they supervised and taught sports skills to campers. In 2011, they also worked as a Commercial Drapery Installer at Wall Designs LLC, installing draperies and window treatments in various businesses and hotels.
From 2014 to 2016, Nick worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Summit Design + Build, where they managed project scopes, schedules, and oversaw crews and subcontractors to ensure projects were completed within time and budget constraints.
From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Traveling Superintendent - Assistant at Shawmut Design and Construction. In this role, they allocated resources, established project schedules, and monitored work quality to consistently complete projects within time and budget constraints.
Most recently, Nick worked at The Hardy Group, starting as a Project Director from October 2018 until February 2022, and then promoted to Senior Project Director. In this role, they provided expert counsel and leadership for hospitality development projects, delivering renovations and Return on Investment (ROI) projects on time and on budget. Nick'sresponsibilities included on-site supervision, budget and scope management, contractor selection, and overseeing material delivery.

Nick Opyd completed their high school education at Mount Carmel High School from 2006 to 2010. Nick then went on to attend The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2013, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management. Additionally, in November 2014, Nick obtained the OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification from ClickSafety.
