Faraz Harsini, MSc, PhD, DipACLM, currently serves as Bioprocessing Senior Scientist for Cultivated Meat at The Good Food Institute and as Chief Executive Officer at Allied Scholars for Animal Protection, both positions held since June 2022. Previously, Faraz was a Protein Expression and Process Development Scientist at XBiotech USA, Inc. from June 2019 to June 2022, and held various academic roles at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, including Research Scientist, Lecturer, and Research Assistant from 2014 to 2019. Faraz's educational background includes a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran. Research experience includes work on the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles and their biomedical applications.
