George Youakim is an experienced theatre professional currently serving as General Manager at The GM Office since January 2023. Previously, George held various managerial roles at ShowTown Theatricals, including Associate General Manager and US Company Manager for productions such as Notre Dame de Paris and A Sherlock Carol. Additional experience includes Company Manager for Norma Rae at Thompson Turner Productions, General Manager for the New York Musical Festival, and Creator and Producer for Broadway Unplugged. George's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University, complemented by specialized training from The Commercial Theater Institute and Circle in the Square Theatre School.
