Laura Espinach Tort is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability reporting and standards development. Currently serving as Director and Head of Technical Development at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) since October 2011, Laura has played a pivotal role in leading projects related to occupational health and safety, and human rights standards. Previous positions at GRI include Senior Manager and Manager of Standards, where Laura managed the transition to the G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and coordinated significant publications such as the SDG Compass. Prior to GRI, Laura worked as an ESG Research Analyst at EIRIS and contributed to sustainability reporting guidelines in multiple sectors. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Strategic Planning and Creative Advertising from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
