Steve Banas is an accomplished controls engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Controls Engineer III - Technical Lead at The Gleason Works since 2000. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Systems Engineer at CVC (Veeco) from 1998 to 2000, an Electrical Engineer at Davenport Machine, Inc. from 1996 to 1998, and held various positions including Assembly Manager at CVC (Veeco), Project Engineer at Radec Corp, and Aviation Electronics Technician in the US Navy from 1977 to 1981. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Springfield Technical Community College.
