Sean Desmond is an experienced intelligence officer with The GEO Group, Inc. since August 2013, focusing on collecting intelligence related to suspected security threat groups and contributing to facility security responses. Prior to this role, Desmond served at the Chula Vista Police Department from March 1995 to 2012, taking on positions such as Patrol Officer and Violent Crimes Investigator, where responsibilities included citywide patrols and crime investigations. Additionally, as a Community Service Officer, Desmond engaged with local businesses and residents to enhance crime prevention efforts. Desmond holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Southwestern Community College.
