Jade Carter has held a variety of roles in the fields of marketing, creative strategy, and administration. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Project Coordinator Intern for the Ryan Cameron Foundation, where they communicated with sponsors and program beneficiaries, created presentations and literature for meetings, and edited newsletter articles and press releases. In 2012, they were an Administration Intern for the Clinton Foundation, where they drafted correspondence to requests on behalf of President Clinton, prepared areas for meetings and conferences, greeted guests of President Clinton and their staff, and gave tours of the office. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at The Gallery at South Dekalb and a Production Intern at Rival Entertainment. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Creative Director and Digital Marketing Director for the A3C Festival & Conference, where they oversaw and executed the creative and social media strategy, including leading and creating artwork for marketing materials, campaigns and branded properties, and planning and executing strategies for social media platforms. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have held the roles of Director of Partnerships, Head of Creative Strategy, Marketing Director, and Brand Engagement Manager for The Gathering Spot.
Jade Carter attended Williams College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a BA in Theirtory and Africana Studies. Jade then went on to pursue a Master of Professional Studies from the Pratt Institute from 2020 to 2022, with a focus on Strategic Design Management.
