Julie Nguyen is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Middle School and Program Specialist at The Gateway School since September 2019. Previously, Julie held multiple roles at BASIS Independent Schools, including Associate Head of School and Director of Student Affairs, where responsibilities encompassed daily operations, faculty coaching, and student interventions. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Director at Fusion Academy and working as a behavior interventionist and youth specialist in various organizations, focusing on curriculum development, counseling, and vocational services for students. Julie holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on School Counseling and Student Personnel from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University.
