Remco Cats has over 8 years of experience in various software development roles. Remco is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at The Future Group as a Full-stack Developer from 2018 to 2020.

From January 2018 to September 2020, Remco worked as a senior software engineer at SSC-I DJI. Remco also has experience as an OSB/SOA Suite Developer at Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) from 2016 to 2017.

Additionally, they worked as a JAVA/SOA Consultant at Whitehorses from 2012 to 2017, where they worked with the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack for software development and provided guidance to customers on implementing SOA.

Remco has also worked at Justis as an ADF Developer from 2014 to 2016, at de Rechtspraak as an ADF/Java/SOA Developer from 2013 to 2015, at Business Lease Group B.V. as a SOA Suite/OSB Consultant in 2013, at Studielink Expertisecentrum as a Ruby on Rails Developer in 2012, and at Rijkswaterstaat as a C++ Developer and SOA Consultant from 2012 to 2012.

Remco Cats received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in System and Network Engineering from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2004 and 2007. In 2014, they enrolled at Open Universiteit to pursue a Master's degree in Software Engineering, although the end year for this program is not specified. Additionally, in December 2017, they obtained the Completion Award for the Oracle MOOC: Soar higher with Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) 4.0 from Oracle.
